A memoir in essays
Hollins University creative writing professor Cathy Hankla celebrates the publication of her 14th book on Indie Bookstore Day Book No further.
She is the poetry editor of The Hollins Critic; among her other works are the novels The Land Beyond and A Blue Moon in Poorwater; poetry collections Galaxies: Poems and Great Bear. She is the Winner of a PEN Syndicated Fiction Award and the James Boatwright III Prize for Poetry; her essays, poems, and stories have appeared in literary journals nationwide.
The reading starts at 1:30 pm and will be followed by discussion and a books signing. Admission is free. The event is part of Book No Further’s Independent Bookstore Day Celebration.
